Family Drive Program

Family Drive Program is a collaborative effort with the Supervised Visitation Program that facilitates visits between children in out-of-home placements and their families, such as foster care or temporary arrangements.

Working with Children and Youth agencies, the program prioritizes the safety and well-being of the children while maintaining their connection with their biological families.

The key components of the program are as follows:

  • Transportation Services:
Providing transportation for children in out-of-home placements to visit their families, ensuring they can maintain meaningful contact despite their living arrangements.
  • Supervision:
Trained staff or volunteers oversee the visits to protect the children’s safety and best interests during interactions with their families.
  • Other Transportation Needs:
The program extends assistance for necessary transportation, including school-related activities or essential errands related to the children’s well-being.

The Supervised Visitation and Family Drive Program is a crucial resource for maintaining family connections and supporting children in out-of-home placements. Its collaborative approach involves multiple agencies and stakeholders, aiming to enhance overall stability and welfare while working towards possible family reunification or other suitable long-term solutions.
